“i bought this old yantai (a bowl where ancient chinese grind and place the ink) at pan jia yuan and wanted to turn it into something lively. i decided to introduce two new functions to it: a fish bowl and a clock. it’s a fun design because you can tell the time and also play with the goldfish in your spare time. i finished the final look by solidworks (a professional software): the hour hand is the little triangular frame and the fish can eat one serving of food each hour (which is good for the fish’s diet, ha!). the activities areas include the triangle and the semicircle area. i haven’t decided how to show the minute…”
